My horse is really fat?

I agree with the answer above. I would increase her work load more gradually. Do about 10 minutes of walking, circling, and bending to get her muscles ready. Then do some uphill walking/trotting. Trotting is the best gait to help a horse lose weight and gain muscle. Keep the cantering and galloping to a minimum. Make sure you give her a few breaks and keep her hydrated. there are electrolyte pastes you can give for extra energy/hydration. I would also put her on a weight control feed such as: a href="http://www.horse.purinamills.com/products/wellsolve/ECMD2-0032709.aspx" rel="nofollow"http://www.horse.purinamills.com/product…/a That should help her out. Once she is at a proper weight, slowly move her off the weight control feed and back to a higher calorie feed & make sure you exersize her regularly and if YOU can't, have someone else. good luck!
