What should i do to achieve my size goal?

So I'm looking to like get my thighs and smaller to at least a 5 (I'm a 9 now) I'm already going to be running in the mornings and I'm on the cheer team but i also need to know what to eat and how much to eat. Also is there any specific things i should stay away from? Thanks in advance!
